Spend 24 hours with Bear Grylls!

Chief Scout Bear Grylls is holding a 24-hour survival camp on his island in Wales, and you could be one of eight lucky Scouts joining him!

‘Eight Scouts who have proven themselves by gaining the Chief Scout’s Gold Award by 31 July 2010 will join me for the wilderness camp. We’ll get to have a wild adventure, and loads of fun. Up for the challenge?'

Who can apply?

If you can say yes to all the three statements below, you qualify to apply. 

•    I am an invested member of the Scout section 
•    I was born after 1 August 1996
•    I will complete my Chief Scout's Gold Award by 31 July 2010

Yes, yes, yes? Well, what are you waiting for – the closing date is 15 May.

Top tips

To help show us why you deserve a place on the camp we want to see what you have done so far to achieve your Gold Award. This doesn’t just have to be a note from your leader. Photos, videos, blogs, whatever you think will help you stand out from the rest. If applying online, please provide links to any external sites you use, such as Youtube or Flickr.
