Join the Adult Training Team - 14-01-2011

Training Adviser (TA)

Training Advisers work as part of a TA team with a Local Training Manager to support and assess adults in the Adult Training Scheme as far as the award of the Wood Badge 


Local Training Manager (LTM)

Local Training Managers support the county's training provision. They manage Training Advisers and coordinate training support for all adults in a part of the county. We aim to double the number of LTMs in Oxfordshire so that they can work in partnerships in their area

Trainer

Trainers plan, deliver and evaluate training sessions, taking into account the needs of the participants and using a variety of methods


First Aid Trainer

First Aid Trainers deliver First Response training courses and evaluate the ability of the individual course participants to carry out basic first aid procedures


Practical Skills Instructor

Practical Skills Instructors deliver practical skills and instructional training to adults


Tutor

Tutors support groups of participants during training courses and will steer a tutor group by imparting knowledge, making suggestions and encouraging full participation


Training Assistant

Training Assistants get involved in the general smooth running of training sessions. Supporting Trainers and Tutors by being involved with course development through to making sure that resources and materials are in the right place at the right time. A great introduction to becoming further involved in the Adult Training provision


Course Director

Course Directors plan, prepare and direct a learning experience


Course Staff Manager

The Course Staff Manager ensures that sufficient and appropriately qualified staff are available for each training event
