Silver Wolf - the unrestricted gift of the Chief Scout, awarded for service of the most exceptional nature.
In July Angela Cousins received the highest award for service in Scouting, the Silver Wolf, an event in Wantage brought together friends and family from the past 33 years of Scouting in Oxfordshire, but not all guests were that local. Angela’s family alone brought together three generations of Scouting spanning more than one continent, all in their respective uniform – a Beaver Scout, a Cub Scout, a Scout, a Webelo Cub,(Texas) a Bear Cub (also Texas), a Brownie Guide, an Assistant Scout Leader a Den Leader and Angela herself. A true Scouting family.
Angela’s Scouting record has covered many roles including District Commissioner, Training Adviser and Deputy County Commissioner, but still deems herself as a Cub Scout Leader at heart.The Award was presented by Tim Kidd, National Commissioner for Adult Support together with Tarquin May, County Commissioner
