Walking Group Leader Scheme Training Course - 06-11-2010 - 07-11-2010

The Walking Group Leader Scheme Training Course is running soon this year. The course gives a greatMountain.jpg opportunity to learn 'skills for the hills' and gain a great basis for further training to take young people to the hills, and its a bit of fun too.

The course is split over two weekends, both based in the Peak District over the weekends of 6/7 November and 4/5 December. It is most important that you register well before the weekends, so get in touch with Dave Burton as soon as possible to reserve your space.

Participants will also need to register with Mountain Leader Training England as candidates for the Walking Group Leader Scheme before the course starts. Full details of the costs involved with this and online registration are available on the MLTE website. (http://www.mlte.org/)

The training is open to anyone over 18, so this includes Network members too! The cost is £120 which covers the training, accommodation for the weekend sessions, breakfasts and evening meals.
