Reunion refreshes and inspires
2,000 adults in Scouting gathered under the famous oak tree for the 84th Gilwell Reunion, which took place at the weekend. A mix of volunteers, young and old, filled the campsite and got to take part in a range of activities, workshops and entertainments.

The Scout Association proudly works in partnership with many charities which operate on the frontline of disaster and poverty. Reunion 2010 will give attendees the chance to find out more about this work and the activities they can offer.

Safeguarding Awareness Workshops
These workshops are for all adults in Oxfordshire Scouting in order to ensure that you are aware of The Scout Association's Child Protection Policy "Young People First" and your role in implementing it.
Also as an update to your Child Protection Training at least once every 5 years, or prior to your appointment review.
Districts, Unit and Groups may contact Alison Matthews (County Safeguarding Awareness Coordinator) to arrange further workshops locally (maximum participants 24 - minimum 3).
